• Heart and soul of a Transcend Tiny House

The heart and soul of any house is the kitchen.

This is no ordinary Tiny House, so naturally you would expect this is no ordinary tiny house kitchen.

I want to describe just how we arranged this special space just for you. We put hours of discussion and forethought into making it the best that it can be. A lot of people feel pressure when preparing a meal and it doesn’t have to be that way. It all comes down to setting things up in a way that is comfortable and convenient to you. So sit back and relax, this is good stuff…

We began by installing IKEA cabinets. If you know IKEA, then you know their lineup is incredible. Inserts and organizational features can be added by you at any time to customize your space and make it work for you, the way you cook. We have given you the foundation for a spectacular kitchen.  Where you take it is up to you!

I do a lot of cooking. If you cook much, you know a microwave has its place, but it falls short of a serious oven. That is why I made sure that we installed a real convection microwave combination with a vent underneath to keep your Tiny Home fresh inside.

The convection feature allows for real baking and browning without the need for a traditional oven.

Can you smell that fresh batch of cookies baking? Pass the milk!

In support of these features is the latest, most advanced refrigerator we could find. It is so cool that I want one for myself! It not only has a cavernous interior it also has amenities that would make a gourmet kitchen jealous. “Goodies” that you don’t see in a Tiny Home include an ice cube maker, wine chiller and a front access door for often used items.  I know, you would think really? In a Tiny Home?

Lastly, this kitchen was designed around cooking. The heart of our kitchen is the induction cooktop. It is beautifully elegant and the right fit for the space. Since we ultimately designed this space around cooking you will find just what you need. A simple kitchen countertop with items placed within reach for convenience. To make cooking a pleasure, we added a tool rack on the wall. It’s not only convenient, it is also beautiful. You don’t have to be a chef to cook like one.

In preparing food, goodness comes from more than creating flavors. Food made with love is the ultimate. When you feel good about your choices, creating even a simple meal in a great kitchen just makes your day.
